Cantilever rack base is designed to hold standard to heavy loads. They are available with many arm size and type options to meet a variety of storage needs. Arms are adjustable in 3″ increments. They contain bolted arm connections with a heavy arm connector plate as well as welded column-to-base connections. The cantilever shelving units can be built in either single or double sided configurations.

Cantilever rack consists of column, base, arm and connecting bracing. Single side and double side are both available. Cantilever rack base can be of light duty type, medium duty type, and heavy duty type. Cantilever rack is quite simple structure, very easy to be assembled and disassembled. Mainly consists of column, base, arm, straight brace and X bracing.

The base is exactly what is sounds like. It is the base or foot of the tower. They can be used to store another level of material at the floor. They typically are the same length of the arms that are being used, but don’t always have to be the case. They do have to match whatever tower dimension you are using. Structure

When purchasing Cantilever Racking System, the first thing you should look at is how the upright is connected to the base.  Some of the Cantilever Racking only require 4 or 8 bolt assemblies, while in Super Rack, our upright consists an enhancement plate which requires 12 bolt assemblies for strong supports.

While designing your Cantilever Racking System, do not forget that the height of your building and the range of your forklift are the main factors that you should consider when choosing the right upright size.
